Re: Books for beginners
Hello Pyushi
Here is a book that is good from beginner to improver level with good examples
and covers a wide area for learning and knowledge :
Ancient Hindu Astrology for the Western Astrologer by James T. Braha
I hope you benefit from it.
I think the author was in USA when he produced it.

Re: Books for beginners
Hello Hamid sir,
I intend to work hard sir. Honestly it's a big deal that an esteemed astrologer like you showed trust in me and this is the only reason I am dipping my toes into this.
About befriending an Astrologer in my city, it seems difficult. Mostly are karmkandi pandits doing puja, archana etc. Besides, I don't know any good astrologer here.
For now I am relying on the book Pem sir advised and Sir James T. Braha interview videos on you tube.

If you are in India n happen to visit New Delhi then go to Bhatti vidia bhavan (this is about a km or so from ywca n Bangla sahib) people are nice there in the book shop they will guide you also.
Just remember one thing this is a slow learning field n do not get discouraged.
