Mercury Retrograde in Virgo

Post by admin »

Well, apart from Uranus, (which turned Retrograde on the 5th July in the 1st Degree of Aries); and, Jupiter (which turned Retrograde on the 23rd July in the 4th Degree of Aries) ; and both in play with Saturn and Mars in Libra (meanwhile Pluto R in 6th degree of Capricorn, and all in aspect to these!)...Well, I have to give this to all of those astrologers who have attempted to interpret these matters, and how they will play out. (I have No Idea...too much to take into 'consideration' for me...overwhelmed by all of the 'Global' and 'Local' issues  )

So, am going only to look at the current Mercury Retrograde, which occurred on the 20th August, in the 20th Degree of VIRGO. (Turns Direct on the 12th Sept. in the 6th Degree of Virgo).

First of all, this is a series of Mercury retrogrades in 'Earth' signs. This is about working out what is actually 'tangible'/real. It's also about finding fault or being found out that there are 'faults' in either one's own work/health, or what is found in the 'work'/details/work process, of others. As a result of this retrograde, the opportunity is to go back over every and any little detail in case you may have missed something. In a personal chart, this
means: Be as objective as you can...which won't be easy!!!

The 20th Deg. of Virgo is in fact about some kind of 'combat', as each one of us finds something new and tries to either hide it, or else...expose it. Also, the day this occurs: 20/8/2010 is about changing work/health methods in all areas. (Be careful of interfering too much however, as this will increase the possibility of clashes and confrontations - depending upon the area of one's chart in which this Retrograde Mercury occurs). Basically this is about 'hiding' and 'cover-ups', so if this occurs in some political persons' charts, or in a 'Country's' chart, this will surely be relevant.
The 'Direct' Degree (6th Virgo on 12th Sept. 2010) is about 'harmony' and 'planning' and birth of new projects...which maybe about either sitting back and taking advantage of others, or else getting involved in many more projects.
Mercury crossed this Degree on the 1st of August, so If anything comes up again (from around that date), when it comes back to that Degree on 22nd-24th Sept., do try to remember what was going on and review the issues.

Best,
Admin.

Well, here's a typical Mercury Retrograde matter: had forgotten that I'd already written about it here, so started it all again in 'Word': "Mercury Retrograde in Virgo: (20th Aug. 2010 til 12th Sept. 2010)

This time, the degree symbol at Mercury’s retrograde point, suggests that it’s about ‘fighting and combat’, as does the day Number: 31/4– which may be either/both outside or within oneself.

Here Mercury Retrograde pushes us to go back over our physical selves/health/workplace and environment. Virgo of course finds fault with all of this. Whether this is about a personal matter (work/body), or about an environmental matter, it is pushing us to re-vamp these matters. Nerves are on edge, and too much criticism (of self and of others) may result in backlashes.

Mercury turns direct on 12th Sept. 2010, in the 6th Deg. of Virgo (it was last there on the 1st of Aug. 2010, so if any issues recur from that time, hopefully they will have been resolved…if not, something that was gambled on capriciously, might come back in not quite the way expected.) The better/upside is that there might be a feeling of being a part of something that one was looking for.

(Obviously this is also about ‘world’ patterns…)"    :?

Retrograding is very simple to explain. This is similar to walking upward on an hilly area as compared to plane road. In other words any planet when retrogrades makes all effects difficult for the individual whether it is positive or negative.

Thanks for that kobra... a good take on retrogrades. Meanwhile, I wonder if you have noticed this recent stationary/direct transit of Pluto? Feels much harder than evem the 'retrograde' process?
