Transiting Mars Retrograde

Post by admin »

Well, how are you all experiencing this?

Mars retrograde in Virgo may perhaps be described as turning earth into dust...which makes it hard for Virgo to focus on the details it’s used to taking care of, as they’re ‘burned’ away. It does help however, to assist in finding a ‘better’ way...not that it feels like that at the time.

Mars turned R on the 24th Jan. 2012, in the 24th deg. of Virgo. (at O:43 am GMT).
It keeps going back over ‘old ground’ in Virgo til it reaches as far back as the 4th Deg. of Virgo on the 14th of April 2012, (at 3:51 am GMT).

What Mars may pull up along his way are two (at least ‘two’), possibilities: (1)energy to proceed in a conscious, organised way, or (2) to act ‘unconsciously’...ie. to invert the energy, which inevitably can result in self-deprecation, depression...all of those ‘I don’t matter really’ thoughts.

Clearly, primarily this applies to those with planets between 4-24 degs. of Virgo. However, those with planets between these 20 degrees in other ‘mutable’ Signs (Sag., Pisces, Gemini) should be aware of what’s going on. Obviously, the effect will vary according to each individual.

So, how do we deal/cope with this?
At the time Mars turned retrograde, Mercury in Capricorn was just past the trine with Mars. (Mercury ‘rules’ Virgo). So right there we have the ‘possibility’...everything seems to be falling down around us, but something is assisting...some support (Capricorn) via communication (Mercury). It’s already happened, even tho’ it may not seem to be apparent...for a while. Hang in there...it’s coming, so don’t give up. It may feel – to some – that they/you are trapped, and feel like there’s no escape. That isn’t the case. You sure ain’t ‘alone’. So, don’t get angry with ...whomever you may rail against or blame for various injustices...at least, not yet. Save it for when you have all your facts straight, and...it might be a good idea to bear in mind that others are going through something similar and may meet you in a similar state of mind.

(Thinks: having said those words, need to remind myself).
